The security of the Zone is provided by the security forces on duty at the MOSB Police Station Command under the General Directorate of Security. There is also a security team within the Zone working in coordination with the police forces.

Serving with a total staff of 43, the security team ensures the security of the Zone 24/7 without interruption, both at fixed points within the Zone such as the Regional Directorate building, MOSB Kindergarten, MOSTEM, the Technical Services Building, the Wastewater Treatment Plant, ZEKİ and the car parks, and by patrolling.

The team, which continuously patrols the Zone in a security vehicle, intervenes in incidents occurring during patrols within the scope of its authority and provides solutions.

In the event of a possible fire within the Zone, the team immediately goes to the scene, clears the roads, cordons off the surrounding area with safety tape, removes unauthorized and unrelated persons from the danger zone, and secures the area around the scene.

In the event of possible traffic accidents within the boundaries of the Zone, if there are any injured persons, the ambulance, law enforcement, and the relevant authorities and persons are notified.

In the event of traffic violations such as improper parking or driving in the wrong direction, the patrol teams warn the persons concerned in cooperation with the traffic team assigned to the Zone by the Traffic Branch Directorate.
