Within the framework of the energy policies pursued to prevent the risks arising from our country’s high level of energy dependence and to develop a sustainable energy model, and in line with the energy policy implemented by our Park, a “Biomass Power Plant” has been established to create alternative energy sources and make use of renewable energy. The plant uses as its energy source the treatment sludge from the Central Wastewater Treatment Facility already located in our Park, as well as waste generated by the industrial facilities in our Park.

At the Board of Directors meeting of MIP ENERGY Electricity Generation Inc. held on October 11, 2018, a decision was taken to establish a Biomass Power Plant, and the company was founded on May 14, 2019.

The Biomass and Waste Incineration Facility of MOSBIO ENERGY GENERATION Inc., built on an area of 27,490 m² in the 3rd Section of our Park, became operational with the “First Smoke Ceremony” held at the General Assembly Meeting on June 21, 2021. With an installed capacity of 15.4 MWe and an annual electricity generation capacity of 133,056,000 kWh, the facility makes a significant contribution to meeting the energy needs of our Park.
