Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MOSTEM), one of the successful initiatives of the zone administration, began offering education in the 2010-2011 academic year.
The Technical and Anatolian High School, which started education in 2010 on the grounds of the zone’s education campus, began with 180 students in its first year.
In 2012, the necessary work was initiated to convert the school into a private institution, with the aim of training students educated using state-of-the-art machinery and equipment and contemporary methods in the vocational fields needed by the zone’s companies.
At the end of this process, completed on October 10, 2012, the MOSB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School attained private school status. With this development, the Private MOSB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School became not only a first in Turkey but also a school that would serve as a model for other Organized Industrial Zones.
At the school, whose curriculum content has been designed to meet the qualified personnel needs of the zone’s companies, students receive education in the Anatolian Vocational and Anatolian Technical Programs.
Students who qualify to study at the Private Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School receive education in the following fields:

Students who are placed directly into their fields in the 9th grade take culture and vocational courses together for four years. Beginning in the 10th grade, students start the specialization process by selecting a branch within their field, and in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades they take both the vocational courses of their field’s sub-branch and culture courses. In order to graduate, students in the Anatolian Technical Program must complete 40 working days of internship at companies during the summer break of the 11th grade, while students in the Anatolian Vocational Program must complete skills training at companies three days a week in the 12th grade.
MOSTEM, which began education with 180 students in the 2010-2011 academic year, enhances its educational quality through its professional teaching staff as well as the equipment of its workshops and laboratories that fulfill the vocational functions of the main occupational fields in its curriculum, thereby providing its graduates with a competitive advantage in employment.
The school’s laboratory setup was carried out by a commission consisting of subject experts from the Provincial Directorate of National Education, representatives of the zone’s industrialists, and zone officials.

In addition to its industry-appropriate educational content, with its expert staff and modern laboratories prepared in cooperation with industrialists, the Private Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School fulfills the requirement of its motto, “Not someone seeking a job, but a respected member of society sought after at work,” and awaits new students who can keep pace with innovation.
Various collaborations are carried out with companies within the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone to support students’ professional development and build their self-confidence.
Through activities with companies such as mentee-mentor programs, coaching sessions, career meetings, scholarship programs, and the development of design and manufacturing processes without disrupting in-class learning, the aim is to elevate students’ professional development to the highest level.
Numerous sports and cultural events are held at our school to prepare our students for life and to lay the groundwork for them to become respected members of society.
Activities such as author book-signing days, various talks with experts, in-school vocational competitions, participation in provincial-level school sports competitions across various branches, school theater, social responsibility projects and charity campaigns, student clubs operating within the school, in-school tournaments, and the traditional career and pilaf day are organized to elevate students’ social and cultural development to the highest level.
In our school, we offer our students the opportunity to receive education through an education portal by fully processing the weekly course schedule via the “Microsoft Teams Education” application, which is an online education platform accepted all over the world.
Microsoft Teams for education allows teachers to continue promoting learning in a virtual classroom alongside their regular classroom environment. Teachers can easily communicate with students, host virtual learning webinars, host team meetings with an unlimited number of students, and store files in an easily accessible way. They can also collaborate on documents with students and also work together to create the feeling that they are still in close contact even though they are apart.
It is possible to participate in the Microsoft Teams program from all smart platforms. The app fully integrates with common practices that our students are used to. Easily accessible from computer, phone, tablet, desktop or browser, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. In this way, our students can access lecture videos and documents of all academic years retrospectively with the Microsoft Office 365 license offered free of charge by our school in their own working environment at home. In addition, students and teachers can use the program at any time of the day and anywhere.
In this portal used in our school, live lectures of all our teachers are recorded. Thus, our students are given the opportunity to repeat the topics later or to learn the course content that they cannot attend. At the same time, attendance and absence reports of our students are processed through the system and students are encouraged to participate in the course.
