Imperial Tobacco Turkey is a subsidiary of the Imperial Tobacco Group, one of the world’s leading tobacco companies. 

The Imperial Tobacco Group is one of the world’s leading international tobacco companies that manufactures, markets and sells cigarettes, tobacco products, cigarette rolling papers, filter tubes and cigars in 160 countries worldwide. The Group has been operating in Turkey since 2005 with its head office in Istanbul, its factory in Manisa and its team spread across the country.

Manisa Factory 

Imperial Tobacco Manisa factory is equipped with the latest technology machinery and is one of the 5 factories in the world where the most important strategic international brand of the group is produced. In addition, the factory is one of the most modern production centers Imperial Tobacco has built from the ground up. With the international and local brands produced at the factory, Imperial Tobacco forms the basis of the importance it attaches to the Turkish market and its development potential. 

As of 2007, Imperial Tobacco started to export to Turkey, TRNC, Taiwan, Serbia, Iraq, Morocco and Lebanon with the production made in Manisa factory. 

Imperial Tobacco Manisa Factory, with a closed area of 29.000 m2 and a total area of 60.000 m2, was established in accordance with Turkish and EU environmental legislation. 

The factory is an integrated facility operating with full automation. It has a total of 4 departments: (1) Raw material warehouses, (2) Production department, (3) Finished and semi-finished product warehouses, and (4) Energy center. 

In August 2006, the factory also received all of the Quality Management System ISO 9001, Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001 certificates shortly after its establishment.
