The pride night “Made in Manisa 2020”, in which Manisa IP, which is among the oldest and largest industrial parks of Turkey, rewarded the traditional companies operating in the Region, was held with a magnificent organization.

Manisa Deputy Semra Kaplan Kıvırcık, Manisa Governor Mustafa Ahmet Deniz, Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Ahmet Ataç, Manisa OIZ Chairman of the Board Sait Türek, at the Gala and Award Ceremony held with the slogan ‘Made in Manisa’ and held at İzmir Kaya Thermal Hotel, Zorlu Holding Chairman of the Board Ahmet Nazif Zorlu, Elginkan Holding Chairman of the Board Gaye Akçen, Ministry of Foreign Affairs İzmir Representative Ambassador Gökçen Kaya and Italy İzmir Consul Valerio Giorgio and regional industrialists attended.

Sait C. Türek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Manisa Industrial Park, who made the opening speech at the night, stated that they have an important production base in Turkey: “While we continue our work as the region, we are proud of the successful investments and activities of our companies with strong domestic and foreign capital. As a Region that hosts our industrialists and provides high standards of service, we have accomplished successful works both in our country and in the international arena with the inspiration we receive from you. Our Region, which already has the identity of New Generation IP with the works we have done and the services we have provided, will be a Technology Oriented and Entrepreneurial Friendly IP by 2020. Our new company, INTRAC A.Ş., which will be established in partnership with our region and our Education and R&D Foundation, MOSEV. We will cooperate with universities both in Turkey and abroad and implement an interface model to develop the Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship capacity of our Regional Firms.”

Let My Neighbor Win First

Mentioning that they will implement a different project to increase the domestic and foreign trade of the regional companies, Sait Türek said: “Based on our company data, we will organize a mini fair with the concept of Let My Neighbor Win First in our Region, and we will create a strong synergy and awareness in Manisa and among our regional companies. In the third phase of our project, we will start the studies on the basis of the target sector and target countries determined with our Ministry of Commerce to accelerate the foreign trade capacity of our region.”
